   Cause of her death was Buggy wreck.

  General Notes:

Grace was four feet and nine inches tall with bright red hair. She was a mid-wife and delivered many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lived in Elk City, Nebraska.

Grace's death certificate reads: "Died March 1924; widow age 88 years 7 months 11 days. Thrown from a buggy runaway caused by horse being frightned by auto"

Grace was coming home from delivering a baby.

Jane married John Eugene Lemon, son of David Lemon and Coredlia "Phildelia" Griffin, on 22 Dec 1872 in Bellcreek, Nebraska. (John Eugene Lemon was born on 9 May 1852 in Ash Tabula, Ohio and died on 16 Apr 1899.)

Jane also married Daniel Compton on 22 Oct 1903. (Daniel Compton was born on 7 Mar 1840 in Plainsfield, New York and died on 12 Mar 1926.)
